Terms of Use

The rules for using Corpus Christi Mold Remediation, a free service that connects people in Corpus Christi, TX and nearby Coastal Bend towns with independent mold companies.

This website is owned and operated by Joe McGregor. Last updated November 5, 2026.

What this service is

Corpus Christi Mold Remediation is a referral service. It passes your request to independent mold assessment and mold remediation companies that serve your area. It is not a mold company or a contractor, and it does not inspect, test, remove, remediate or rebuild anything. The site is not licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) as a mold assessor or remediator, and the words "Mold Remediation" in its name are part of the name, not a description of work the site performs.

Free, with no obligation

Requesting quotes is free. You are never obligated to hire any company that contacts you. Companies may pay Corpus Christi Mold Remediation for each request they receive. The site does not rank or endorse companies, and companies reply on their own schedules.

The companies are independent

Companies that contact you are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Corpus Christi Mold Remediation. Any contract for work is between you and the company you choose. The site does not verify licenses, insurance or workmanship and cannot promise that any company is licensed. Before you hire:

  • Texas requires TDLR licenses for mold assessment and remediation work on 25 or more contiguous square feet (Occ. Code §1958.101–.102). Verify any company at tdlr.texas.gov/LicenseSearch.
  • In Texas, the company that assesses your mold and writes the protocol cannot be the company that removes it on the same project, and one owner can't hold both (Occ. Code §1958.155).
  • On a job of 25 contiguous square feet or more, get the assessor's written remediation protocol and the remediator's written work plan before work starts.
  • When the work is done, ask for the Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation (TDI form MDR-1), which the remediator must provide within 10 days.
